In Embraced by His Love, I wanted to capture the reality that I find God's love in the extraordinary and the ordinary, the miraculous and the mundane. He has come to me in a stunning sunrise, a well-timed text from a friend, and an unexpected sunflower in my garden bed. When I have eyes to see, He assures me I am known, I am loved, I am held.

Lauren Madsen is a kindergarten teacher turned stay-at-home mom who rediscovered her love for reading and writing poetry during the unique experience of the 2020 pandemic. She serves as the Membership Chair for the Utah State Poetry Society and lives near Salt Lake City with her husband and four children. Through both the written and spoken word, Lauren hopes to encourage and inspire others along the path of faith.
