Candice graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Secondary English Education in 2007. She has worked as an educator in brick and mortar as well as online ever since. She has also served as a children's ministry director at her church and coordinated a writing contest for The Society of Book Writers and Illustrators. Candice has attended numerous writing conferences for children's publishing including the One-on-One Plus Conference at Rutgers. She won honorable mention in the Rising Kite Contest for her YA manuscript for which she now has a full request with a major literary agency. As a teacher and mother of three, she understands the power of stories to shape little hearts. She looks forward to sharing what she has learned from the publishing industry and her own writing journey with you.
